 Sometimes sitting on the porch listening to the spring frogs in the evening you need something more than just a sweater . My wraps are warm but not heavy . Light enough to move in and snuggle up to your loved ones . They come in black,  white , turquoise , gray .   Denim blue and natural color cotton yarn used to create this yummy hand woven fabric for a bedspread  Traditional way to make a hand woven bedspread is to seam the two pieces together . The hand loom limits how wide you can weave a piece  My loom is 60 inches wide  So two pieces are sewn together seam is in the middle of the bedspread in the denim blue check  Looks fabulous on an antique canopy bedv Here is a close up of the seam . Eating healthy is important for the body and brain to function . Eating healthy foods and  unprocessed foods .Here I baked this morning Cornbread for breakfast that we will eat with some leftover bits of  locally grown smoked ham butt . The cornmeal is “ Abenaki Flint “ cornmeal  I don’t drink coffee any more . I drink black tea with Dried stinging nettles  I harvested and dried the nettles when visiting my son and his family while out on Orcas Island ,located in the Puget Sound north of Seattle , Washington  Stinging Nettles have a lot of good nutrients that are mild compared to some other herbs I have used.  Anyway here’s to a hearty breakfast and a Happy New Year !  Comment below I would like to hear from you .

My Burnt Orange Poncho of Hand woven cotton bamboo and locally sourced alpaca yarn is on my website .Limited production so when it is gone ....  These are yummy to the touch and full of eye catching texture.
