Spring time in Maine

Image
Maine Spring Lambs Spring time is happening on a Newcastle Maine  farm   Annie is holding a day old cheviot lamb Today we are a day away from spring and expecting snow and a  "Nor'easter " (Maine accent) which means the strong wind comes out of the north east and usually with snow   One year it pulled a mature azalea bush right out of the ground in front of my house facing north east. "Batten down the hatches, matey , we are headed for a gale !  " (imaginary saying of a mariner)
