Taken from a sundial theme this is a garden sculpture created for plants to grow up in a garden. Wrapped rocks are free formed around an arrow with a tendril ending in a leaf shape. the semi circle is all sitting on a pedestal that can be pushed into the ground.

Here is cotton fabric taken after the look of old ticking fabric.The warp threads are raised and the shuttle is passed through to create the web of cloth. Cotton yarn was used of yellow tan slubby yarn and red rust . All color fast it can be washed gently . Sturdy enough to be hand towels this fabric will go into pillow shams and a bedspread.It will match the previous bedspread created in a post in this blog earlier this year.
